Our family loves to turn the lights off and plug this into the USB port on our receiver - instant dance party! I used these lights to spruce up a sign as part of a trunk or treat. Worked well but as they don’t pull a lot of current, some usb power packs will time out and shut off leaving you without a light. The adapters they also provide are very poor but I didn’t need them.

It's a cheap constructed novelty item. There are attachments that connect to your phone but it didn't work for me. Does connect to every usb port I tried. It does give a good amount of spread light.
